Confession time: I skipped leg day. Again. 😳
Not because I hate it (okay maybe a little), but because my soul said “nope” today and I listened. There’s something oddly powerful about saying “not today, squats.” Like, girlboss energy but in lazy pants.
I walked into the gym, saw the barbell, and suddenly remembered all my life responsibilities. Laundry. Grocery shopping. The fact that I hadn’t watered my plants in two weeks. My legs heard all that and just... sat down.
So I did what any gym girl with a wandering heart would do — stretched for 10 minutes, checked my phone for 20, and left with a protein bar and no regrets. 💅
People act like skipping a workout is the end of the world. But honestly? Some days, skipping the gym is the workout. Mental reset. Energy recharge. Peace restored.
Leg days will come back. My glutes aren’t going anywhere. But today? Today I chose soft music, banana smoothies, and laying like a sleepy cat on my yoga mat. No shame in that.
